Great quote celebrating the importance to have an integrated approach to conceptualizing and creating.
Somehow, the powers of the commercial design and advertising industry often have the unfortunate effect of separating the “thinkers” from the “makers” over time. Our goal is to buck that trend, and to build a company that has powerful conceptual thinkers (people who have inspired, blank-canvas ideas) as well as powerful makers (who bring those inspirations to life, within the constraints of the real world). There are a few renowned companies who seem to have successfully done this; we aim to follow suit – and we are.

In many ways it espouses the Bauhaus movement to bring artisans and engineers together so that each can be benefitted from symbiotic constructive comments. In the end an artisan/designer will become more efficient and effective in building; and simultaneously, the engineer/developer powerfully contributes to the enjoyability of the finished product. The more these disparate skills coordinate and overlap, the larger the sweet spot of the living Venn diagram.
A great collaboration between Shawn Murdock and myself. This time he was the design lead and I did the flash creation. This site uses some nice and fancy flash actionscripting to keep the motion smooth, custom right click navigation and SEO strength too. You should check it out to see the sweet transitions.

This file will be helpful for sending flash variables to your email message. Using this same script you could easily develop an “emailable” Mad Lib. Do you remember those from elementary school?

Metric time carries all the advantages of other metric measuring. For efficiency I’ve named:
- hours = alkas
- minutes = zimits
- seconds = ozzis
to be truly metric, zimits would be centozzis, and alkas would be killozzis.

A while ago (when I was developing a portion of a site for Fort Knox) I needed some help on filling out a form in Flash and sending it to PHP. Almost all of my variables were text variables. But I had a few check boxes in the form. I didn’t know how to properly pass checkbox variables to PHP. I looked for help but couldn’t find it anywhere. After finally piecing together various tutorials I successfully completed the form. I’m sure this is second nature for some people. But it wasn’t for me. I commited to help someone else by demonstrating how to make the form. So here are the files necessary for a Flash form using check boxes.
